We  know that the annual ritual of going sockless is now a big fashion issue according to Bill Cunningham of the New York Times.  His latest On the Street column even has a video where he discusses this new trend in menswear.  When Cunningham talks about it, you know to pay attention!

We also know there's a practical side to going sockless.  In wet, humid weather like we've been having, the insides of shoes get sticky - and smelly.  That isn't so fashionable but  there is a solution:  invisible socks.  No, no not the old sockettes that showed outside of your shoe top like the example below.

Remember those?  You saved your shoes but lost any attempt at looking cool.

Today, invisible socks no longer show themselves.  They are made to fit, do their work and not get in the way of what looks like going sockless.

Sock makers listened to you and we've got the best invisible socks on the market in stock this summer.  They don't show at all so your fashion statement is preserved and you don't get  the dreaded stinky feet syndrome either.

Marcoliani, our great sock maker from Italy, has the thinnest option, and they are amazing.  These socks are so great for the summer and fold up into tiny nothings.  Fab colors and at $20 a pair, you'll want lots of colors.

A slightly thicker, more athletic option is from Anonymous Ism.  Designed and made in Japan, these are of the best cotton with a bit of stretch for added fit and comfort.  They are cut low but comfortable and can be worn with nearly any shoe.  Yes, they will show with Birkenstock sandals so we don't recommend that for a look, ok?

These are also priced at $20 per pair.

Save your shoes, save yourself from stinky feet and still look cool.  It is possible!
